According to the 'Journal Forum' of the University of Montreal, Sonia Lupien's scientific breakthroughs are among the ten most important works of 2010.

"Guide dogs reduce anxiety in children with autism.  A team of researchers led by Dr. Sonia Lupien, Professor of Psychiatry and Director of the Centre for Studies on Human Stress at Louis H. Lafontaine Hospital, has made the first observation of the physiological influence of pet dogs on the stress levels of children with autism".
