Why do our kids need to meditate?
On April 28th, Sonia Lupien, Director of the Centre for Studies on Human Stress participated in a roundtable discussion on meditation in children as part of the show, “Médium Large” presented on Radio-Canada.
Sonia Lupien is pleased to see that we teach children how to regulate emotions, but fears that this may not be suitable for all personalities. “What works for one person does not necessarily work for others,” she said. “Is the classroom the best place to practice mediation? I am not sure.”
